Details

USN-3792-1 fixed a vulnerability in Net-SNMP. This update provides
the corresponding update for Ubuntu 12.04 ESM.

Original advisory details:

It was discovered that Net-SNMP incorrectly handled certain certain crafted
packets. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to cause Net-SNMP
to crash, resulting in a denial of service.

Update instructions

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package versions:
